Yasmine Children's Foundation Building Autonomy, Funding Hope

Building Autonomy, Funding Hope

At the Yasmine Children’s Foundation, we believe that trust must be built from day one—long before the first school is constructed or the first megawatt of clean energy is produced. While we are still in our foundational stage, transparency remains a non-negotiable principle.

Why Transparency Matters From the Start

Even without a program history, YCR is committed to:

  • Openness about our stage: We are a newly established initiative. Our current work is focused on structuring, governance, and securing the financial instruments that will fund our long-term mission.
  • Financial clarity: Any funds entrusted to us during this startup phase are meticulously tracked, and we are prepared to share that accounting with serious stakeholders.
  • A promise of future accountability: As soon as our projects move from planning to operation, we will publish clear, measurable outcomes. For now, we can promise that every future claim will be backed by verifiable data.

Our Financial Model

Zero-Dependency Financing

YCR does not rely on continuous public fundraising. We are seeded by a strategic initial donation, which is grown through institutional financial instruments such as Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC) and Private Placement Programs (PPP). The resulting returns will directly fund the construction of “Knowledge and Skills Cities,” Green Energy hubs, and Emergency Housing, creating permanent community endowments.

Accounting Upon Request

While we have no program expenditures to report yet, we maintain rigorous internal records from the very first dollar received. Any donor, partner, or official body may request detailed financial documentation.

Where We Are Today

We are in the startup phase. This means:

  • Building our organizational infrastructure in full compliance with Swiss non-profit law.
  • Activating the funding mechanisms that will allow our work to begin.
  • Establishing impact measurement frameworks now, so that we are ready to report meaningful results when our first projects launch.

We do not yet have beneficiaries to count or buildings to show. What we do have is an unbreakable commitment to doing things correctly, openly, and sustainably.

Governance and Ethical Oversight

Registration

YCR is a registered non-profit in Switzerland and adheres to all applicable Swiss standards for charitable organizations.

Conflict of Interest Policy

Zero-tolerance policy. Board members and key personnel must disclose any potential conflicts annually.

Ethical Conduct

From the earliest planning stage, every partnership and decision is held to the highest ethical standard.

Looking Ahead

Once our initiatives are operational, you can expect from us:

  • Regularly published impact reports with independently verified data.
  • Project-level financial breakdowns showing exactly how investment yields are converted into community assets.
  • Honest stories of both progress and challenges.

Transparency is not something we will adopt once we are successful. It is the foundation on which we intend to build that success.
